Description

This is an original WWII U.S. M-1 helmet liner rayon neckband. Rayon neckbands were produced in six different sizes during the war. This example's size marking has faded beyond legibility; however, it has been compared to a confirmed size "3" and it is just slightly longer. It exhibits nickel-plated brass United Carr snaps. This would be an ideal neckband for not just liners with rayon suspensions, but also transitional Inlands and St. Clairs.
